(Psychological and Educational Assessment for Kids and Students)
Program Purpose:
To provide assessment and testing services for children and youths. Services include
initial assessment, cognitive aptitude testing, psychosocial screening and
consultation.
History:
PEAKS was created in 2004 to provide greater access to testing services at an
affordable rate.
Service Description:
Parents who are interested in the program fill out a questionnaire before a two-hour
assessment interview. The information from the questionnaire and interview results in
recommendations for testing. An exit interview gives parents the results of the tests.
