Program Purpose:
To offer psychotherapy for people with Medicare to assist them in
coping with stressful passages related to aging or disability and
empower them to maintain their independence and experience enhanced
quality of life.
History:
Renaissance was founded in 1992 for older adults with Medicare. The program
was expanded to include people of all ages with disabilities. Licensed
psychologists and licensed clinical social workers provide counseling
for people with Medicare Part B.
Service Description:
We offer professional counseling for the following problems:
- Depression and anxiety
- Bereavement and other losses
- Chronic or acute illness
- Isolation and loneliness
- Alcohol and drug problems
- Disabilities
- Family conflicts
